There’s no doubt that a niche website is the best way to promote products because you will know more about your audience and your targeted traffic converts much better.

This way you can explain how the product has worked for you and why you readers would love it.
When you can show that you actually use the product, it adds to your credibility and will increase your conversion rate.

It takes building trust with your readers so they believe you and follow your advice when you recommend a new product or service to buy.

The old sales adage is nobody likes to be sold, but everyone likes to buy.

It’s always more effective to mention products within articles rather than just promoting affiliate links by themselves.  Surprisingly you may have better luck approaching a group other than FMA.  Filipino martial artists already know how to use weapons.  Yes, some people are always on the lookout for something new, but you may find that you have better luck promoting the products to arts that don’t have weapons training such as Tae kwon do, karate, Krav Maga or something similar.


So instead of just tweeting a link to a product you are promoting, tweet a link that provides a relevant how-to article that includes a link to the product in the copy. That’s a much better strategy.


Just be sure that you disclose that it is an affiliate link and that you may receive a commission in order to stay compliant with FTC guidelines.
